Description
A White-throated Sparrow stands on a branch while looking for food and enjoying a beautiful spring season day in Springfield Missouri, United States. They are mostly brown and gray with yellow and black stripes on their head and a white patch under their beak at their throat. They stay near the ground, scratching through leaves for food, and like to stay in flocks. In the spring they eat fresh buds in bushes. White-throated Sparrows sing distinctive songs. They are in the Passerellidae family. Springfield MO is located in the Ozarks.
