Description
Two Canadian Geese (1 hiding behind the dead grass) swim around at Lake Springfield in Springfield Missouri during a winter day. I The Canada Goose are part of the large wild goose species. They have a black head and neck, white along their cheeks and under their chin and along the bottom of their backside, and a brown body. They are herbivorous and are found on or close to fresh water. Once they find their mate, they stay together for life. If one dies, the surviving goose may find a new partner.
