Description
A vertical view along the Sugar Creek river as I stood on it's rocky shoreline on a beautiful day. Behind me is the historic Narrows Covered Bridge. The creek was once called Rock River because of its size and rocks. The Pottawatomie Indians called it Pungosecone which may be translated as "the waters of many sugar trees" or "ashes at mouth of stream". This is also located in Turkey Run State Park.
