Description
In this scene I lined up the two palm trees so it looked like just one palm tree. These trees sit on the edge of the beach at Shell Island in Panama City Beach, Florida, United States. You can see one single chair right on the shoreline. That's the perfect spot to sit and watch the boats go by. This is along the Emerald Coast in the Gulf of Mexico. Shell Island is only accessible by boat. They call it an island but it's actually a peninsula. It's a 7-mile long barrier island and beach that makes up the southern reach of St. Andrews State Park. As you can probably guess buy it's name, it's known for seashells and snorkeling. We spent 3 1/2 hours there and came back home with sunburn souvenirs! We did also find some shells, some of the largest that I have personally ever found. I had to go out about waist deep in the water to find them. There wasn't as many as I had hoped. It could have been because we went the week after all the spring breaks were over with. I'm guessing there have been a lot of people there shelling.
