Description
An evening mixed media photo of the old St. Louis courthouse in front of the Gateway Arch. I love the orange glow of the sun on the courthouse. I took this photo and turned it into a painting. The Old St. Louis County Courthouse was built as a combination federal and state courthouse in St. Louis, Missouri. Missouri's tallest habitable building from 1864 to 1894, it is now part of the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial and operated by the National Park Service for historical exhibits and events. The Gateway Arch is a 630-foot monument made of stainless steel . It is the world's tallest arch and the tallest man-made monument in the Western Hemisphere. It's also Missouri's tallest accessible building. It's also known as the gateway to the midwest.
