Description
A Great Blue Heron stands on the railing of the Navarre Beach Fishing Pier hoping for an easy breakfast from the fishermen. This is located in Navarre Beach, Florida and is longest pier in Florida. I like it's little curlycue (curlicue) feather on the back of his or head head caught in the ocean breeze. The great blue heron is a wading bird that is often found near large bodies of water. They are so patient and move around calmly waiting for a good catch. This is also part of the panhandle portion of the Gulf of Mexico, also known as the emerald coast of the Atlantic Ocean.
