Description
You can see the headlights of a moving car drive by in this black and white early twilight morning looking down the Bill Emerson Memorial Bridge in Cape Girardeau Missouri, United States. The bridge crosses over the Mississippi River and the other side is East Cape Girardeau, Illinois. Built in 2004, it replaced the previous 1929 Cape Girardeau Bridge. They highway that crosses it is hwy 74. It s named after Bill Emerson, a Missouri politician who served in the US House of Representatives from 1981 until his death in 1996. It was also featured in the movie "Gone Girl" in 2014.
