Can you imagine yourself setting in the rocking chair reading the newspaper, or knitting a blanket? This is a black and white version of a rocking chair that is displayed in the Hooper House in Pioneer Village which is located in Warsaw Missouri, United States. The exact date of the homes construction is unknown, but the land was purchased by John M Hooper in 1880 and the home appears on the 1903 St Clair County plat map. So it had to be built sometime between that time frame. It was originally located in Osceola Missouri but then moved and reconstructed in Warsaw near the Harry S Truman Dam Visitor Center In 1979 the home was eligible for the National Register of Historic Places.
