Artist's Description
A beautiful purple striped Phalaenopsis orchid. Orchids are some of my favorite flowers. I took this in a garden in Orlando Florida, United States. They are so simple but yet detailed and clean looking. I'm not sure about the exact name of this one but there are about 70 different species of orchids. They are often fragrant and have flat petals with one erect petal that has 3 lobes. They like warmer, tropical climates.
