Oh my goodness, isn't this just adorable. I absolutely love how these geese were protecting their babies on every side. Now that's a protective and loving family! I love watching wildlife especially when they are with their families. It's so cute to watch them interact with each other. You're probably wondering why there are three adult geese. I wonder that too. I'm thinking there are two fathers. I believe the larger Canada Goose on the back right is the mom. A few weeks ago, I was watching her and the Greylag Goose swimming together and then the Greylag Goose suddenly got on the female and started mating. So if that was successful, he's the father, but not sure about the other Canada Goose. They all three would stay with the babies and sometimes the brown one would go off to the side but still stay close. I took this wildlife photo at Sequiota Park in Springfield Missouri, United States.
