Description
I captured this female deer eating leaves off the bushes. When she heard me, she ducked down trying to hide. I love deer. They are so pretty and graceful. I captured this in Ozark Missouri, United States. Ozark is just south of Springfield. Deer are mammals forming the family Cervidae. There are two main groups, Cervinae, including the muntjac, the elk, the fallow deer and the chital, and the Capreolinae, including the Caribou, the roe deer and the moose. Female reindeer, and male deer of most species, grow and shed antlers each year.
