Description
A photo of the historic Falling Spring Mill in Winona Missouri, United States on an early summer day. You have to cross this little wooden walkway bridge over a natural spring to get to the mill. Located in the Ozarks, this mill was built between 1927 and 1929. It was to grind corn for feel, saw out shingles and firewood, and generate electricity. This is the 2nd of two mills. The first one had a wooden wheel while this one has a metal one. This wheel come from Johnson Spring about three miles away. Behind the mill is a natural spring waterfall that fills the natural spring pond. This is also located in Mark Twain National Forest area.
