A large tree is covered with blue Christmas lights at Silver Dollar City during their Old Time Christmas Festival. Silver Dollar City in Branson Missouri is one my my favorite places to visit year around. The Old Time Christmas Festival runs November - December and displays over 5 million dazzling lights, 1000 decorated Christmas Trees, 2 Broadway style productions, Christmas Light Parade, and a 5 story Special Effects Christmas Tree. It's truly an amazing and magical experience. Silver Dollar City is part of the Herschend Family Entertainment. Founded by Jack and Pete Herschend, and opened in 1960.
