Description
A couple of wild Domestic Swan Geese (Anser cygnoides) soak in the sun. Below them are two turtles also sunbathing. Typically these type of geese are kept by humans which is where they got the domestic name. However there a plenty in the wild including these two which are part of large family of them that hang around along a pond at Sequiota Park in Springfield Missouri, United States. I actually wonder if they have a mix of Greylag Goose in them too.
