Description
A beautiful purple sunrise in Folly Beach South Carolina, United States at the Morris Island Lighthouse. The Lighthouse was constructed in 1876 and is on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. When built, it was 1,200 from the edge of the Water and today it is surrounded by water several hundred feet off shore. In 1889 the construction of jetties leading to Charleston Harbor altered ocean currents, resulting in rapid erosion of Morris Island and many other historic structures. The Shoreline reached the lighthouse in 1938. In 1962 it was decommissioned and replaced by the new Lighthouse on nearby Sullivans Island (info source: Wikipedia)

Questa opera sembra semplice, poche cose eppure questo vuoto ti chiama, ti coinvolge. Se ti fermi ad ascoltare, c'รจ una melodia che ti rallegra, argento e viola ti riempiono lo sguardo di nuova speranza. It's easy to think that this artwork is simple, few subjects inside, but this empty space calls you, this space engages you. Whether you stop to listen it, you can hear a melody, a song that makes you happy. The purple and the silver colors fill your gaze of new hope. L/F/Tw

The cool, lavender tones cause me to pull the collar of my jacket up to block out the breeze. It's worth spending extra time here to see the beauty of the sun's glow as it rises.
