Description
The full pink supermoon rises over an old abandoned barn in Ozark Missouri, United States. The moon was trying to hide behind the clouds. I had to take 3 different exposures and combine them into and HDR to get everything exposed correctly and give it a painterly look. It is the first full moon of spring. It's not actually pink but Its name comes from native North American wildflowers that bloom in early springtime: Phlox subulata, known as "moss pink," according to the Old Farmer's Almanac. It's also known as "sprouting grass moon" or "egg moon".
