Description
I captured a couple paddle boarding during a beautiful sunset at Folly River Harbor in South Carolina,United States along the Folly River. Stand up paddle surfing and stand up paddle boarding are offshoots of surfing that originated in Hawaii. Unlike traditional surfing where the rider sits until a wave comes, stand up paddle boarders stand on their boards and use a paddle to propel themselves through the water. Siting on the back side of Folly Beach, this river flows into Stono Inlet from the northeast. It's used by local fishermen desiring to reach Folly Beach. Folly Beach is known as "The Edge of America" and is just south east of Charleston SC.
