A downtown street scene from Park Central Square looking along Park Central Street which is also the old Route 66 in Springfield Missouri. Springfield is located in southwest Missouri and is part of the Ozarks. It is the third largest city in Missouri with a population around 200,000. The Springfield-Branson Metropolitan area has a population around 550,000. It is known as "Queen City of the Ozarks" and the "Birthplace of Route 66". Downtown is a popular hang out.
