Description
The purple stamens and yellow center of this Lady Jane Lady Tulip really pops in the is selective color photo. Tulipa clusiana blooms during the spring season and are a lot smaller than the commonly known tulip. They are part of the Liliaceae floral family and is an Asian species of that's native to Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Pakistan and the western Himalayas. It is also widely cultivated as an ornamental and naturalized in France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Tunisia, Greece, and Turkey. I took this photo at a botanical garden in Springfield Missouri, United States which is also part of the Ozarks.
