The northbound bridge opened in 1991. Its main span is 595 feet with a total length 3,124 ft. The Missouri River is the longest river in North America. Starting in the Rocky Mountains of western Montana, it flows east and south for 2,341 miles before entering the Mississippi River north of St. Louis, Missouri.
