Description
A quiet and peaceful afternoon along James River in Springfield Missouri, United States. James River 130 miles long in southern Missouri. It's source is near the town of Diggins and heads northwest, then turns southwest near Northview and passes down the east side of Springfield where where it is impounded to form Lake Springfield. From Springfield it flows west, then south to Galena where it becomes and arm of Table Rock Lake. Large sections are floatable, and offers several access points for fishing and boat launches. The river's unusual green stain is from copper-fixing bacteria present in the waters. (source: Wikipedia)
