Description

A female ruby-throated hummingbird sits on a pussy willow branch during the spring season. A yellow pussy willow bloom shines on the side. These hummingbirds are popular in Midwest America. I took this in Springfield Missouri, USA. The males have a ruby red colored throat, while the females are just green, brown and gray in color. Their green color is kind of iridescent looking in the light.
