Description
The star of the 'great conjunction' of Jupiter and Saturn over a cedar tree and expansive view of Ozark Missouri, United States. It's also called Star of David and Star of Bethlehem. On December 21, 2020, the two planets appear closer than they have in centuries. Although Jupiter and Saturn remain hundreds of millions of miles apart in space, the two largest planets in our solar system appear to be close in the winter solstice night sky. These are two photos I took to show both far away and closer up.
