Description
We finally got a light dusting of snow here in Ozark Missouri, United States. The past few years we haven't gotten much snow, so I had to go out and capture it before it melted away a few hours later. This is a photo of Finley River. Finley Creek / River is a stream in the Ozarks. The headwaters are in Webster County southeast of Seymour. The stream flows west-southwest into Christian County, through Ozark and into the northeast corner of Stone County to its confluence with the James River at the old townsite of Jamesville.

I love the snow. We get it where live about every 35 years.....and only an inch or so...but we like it! Great work. FL

Thank you! We used to get it more often here. Now when we get it, it doesn't last long. We get more ice here in the Ozarks.

Jennifer, tell me you made a snow angel! :-) I remember the first snow was always a wet one and didn't stay long! This is a beautiful presentation of the 1st snow of the year! L/f
