Description
A black and white view of some of the rock formations at Elephant Rocks State Park. There's also a tree that has it's exposed roots showing creating a natural art design. This is located in Mark Twain National Forest in the Ozarks in Belleview, MO in Iron Country. It sets on the top of Saint Francois Mountains. This park is filled with massive boulders of granite. There are walking trails all around the park and if you love a challenge, you can climb around on the rocks. Some area's are quite the challenge. You'll want to wear good shoes.

In addition to the banner, I am adding this more permanent recognition of its FEATURE on the homepage of A TREE OR TREES IN BLACK AND WHITE. I try mightily to feature only images that would be at home in a juried competition. No doubt that this image fits that bill. CONGRATULATIONS! And consider adding your image to DISCUSSIONS "Please post your featured photograph here" for greater, long-lasting visibility.
