Description
A photo I took looking down along Chicago River with the Trump International Hotel and Tower in the center in downtown Chicago, Illinois, United States. The 98 story skyscraper was named after real estate developer and former president Donald Trump. It was designed by architect Adrian Smith. The Chicago River is a system of rivers and canals with a combined length of 156 miles that runs through the city of Chicago, Illinois. It is one of the reasons why Chicago became an important location with the related Chicago Portage being a link between the Great Lakes and the Mississippi Valley waterways and eventually the Gulf of Mexico.

Jennifer, Wonderful detailed capture of this tour boat going down the historic Chicago River. My daughter is out there this week and we all told her to make sure she gets on this tour ride with her fiancee and especially at night when everything is lit up. I have done it and its great and you captured it beautifully LF
Jennifer White replied:
Thank you. We didn't get to ride in the boat, but we walked part of the river area. I bet riding it at night is beautiful!
