Description
A couple enjoys a walk during the autumn season at a park located in Lampe Missouri, United States. I took this photo then turned it into a digital water color painting creating this beautiful mixed media piece. Lampe is just southwest of Branson MO. The park is 10,000 acres of beautiful land featuring lots and lots of beautiful waterfalls, and wildlife. There are a variety of ways to explore the park. The best way in my opinion is to rent one of their bikes or bring your own. It's the best way to see the park on your own terms and to be able to explore more. If riding a bike or even hiking isn't the best option for you (the hiking / bike trail is 6.5 miles), there are trams, Segways, or horse back riding options too. Johnny Morris, founder/CEO of Bass Pro Shops, started purchasing tracts of the property in 1990. It's run by Dogwood Canyon Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting the canyon's natural plant and wildlife environment. Their purpose is to promote natural conservation.
