Description
A view of some of the large rocks at Elephant Rocks State Park at the top of Saint Francois Mountains. Located in Mark Twain National Forest in the Ozarks in Iron Missouri, this park is filled with massive boulders of granite. The rocks are lined up like a heard of elephants which is where it got its name. There are walking trails all around the park and if you love a challenge, you can climb around on the rocks. Some area's are quite the challenge. You'll want to wear good shoes.
