Description
A landscape capture of a replica of first and original St Charles Borromeo 1791 Log Church located in St Charles, Missouri, United States. It is the oldest parish in St. Charles. The original log church was dedicated on November 7, 1791. To celebrate it's bicentennial, members of the community, with the financial assistance of their own parishioners, constructed this replica of the original structure. The work was done completely by hand with period tools and in the manner of the 18th century. Construction began during the spring of 2004 and was completed in the fall of 2008.
