Description
A gull, also called a seagull, travels through the grass in Folly River in South Carolina. Siting on the back side of Folly Beach, this river flows into Stono Inlet from the northeast. It's used by local fishermen desiring to reach Folly Beach. Folly Beach is known as "The Edge of America" and is just south east of Charleston SC. Gulls are often referred to as seagulls. They are from the Laridae family. An odler name for fulls is mew. They are typically medium to large birds, usually greay or white, often with black markings on the head or wings. They typically have harsh wailing or squawking calls, stout, longish bills and webbed feet. Source: Wikipedia
